A Novel MIMO Radar Imaging Method Based on Imaging Strip Mode
Abstract— A novel MIMO imaging method based on imaging strip mode is proposed to enhance its imaging performance in a large scene. By the radar array range-gate, a large scene can be segmented into multiple imaging strips in the range direction. Based on its center of each strip, a strip-mode MIMO imaging model is established with new spatial spectral-domain filling. By splicing all imaging strips directly, the imaging result of the whole scene can be achieved. Numerical simulations are performed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
