Feature-Testing of Engine Electronic Control Unit Software
Abstract— Modern engine electronic control unit software contains a huge amount of features and the
number is continuously increasing. This leads to the risk of undesired mutual reactions between features, so
called feature interactions. Hence finding those feature interactions in an efficient way is an important task.
This paper presents new approaches for efficiently testing those features: Feature-Test-Levels and Advanced
Feature Testing. Feature-Test-Levels are especially useful for non-feature-oriented SW structures.
