Analysis and Application of the Relationship between Information Output and Network Topology
Abstract— The information output in networks with high node density is influenced by the correlation
among the data from neighboring nodes. Such networks include Internet of Things, Wireless Sensor
Networks and so on. To improve the efficiency of the information collection, the relationship between
information output and network topology is analyzed in order to give the disciplines in network deployment.
The proofs and numerical computations verify the conclusions. They can also be used in the protocol design
such as Media Access Control.
